How to Track Debts and Money Owed on Android

Informal loans are easy to remember at first and surprisingly hard to reconstruct later. Zekro gives each person, amount, due date and repayment a clear place on your Android device.

Why informal debts are easy to lose track of

A loan between friends, a shared bill or a family reimbursement often begins with a message and a promise to settle later. When several people, currencies or dates are involved, memory and scattered notes stop being reliable.

Zekro keeps these records together without connecting to a bank or moving money.

Keep each person and amount organized

Create a record for the person involved, note whether you owe them or they owe you, and enter the amount in its own currency. Zekro keeps its 20 supported currencies separate; it does not imply automatic exchange-rate conversion.

Record partial repayments

Add each repayment when it happens instead of replacing the original amount. The history shows what was paid and what remains, which is useful when a balance is settled in several steps.

Use due dates, reminders and the Today view

Add a due date where one exists. Local reminders and the Today view help surface records that need attention without sending the debt database to a TSI Dev Studio server.

Understand the net balance

When money has moved in both directions, the net balance per person gives a clearer summary than reading every entry individually. The history remains available for context.

Back up and export your records

Zekro supports PDF statements, CSV import and export, receipt or proof photos, and encrypted manual or weekly backups. You choose when records leave the app and where exported files are stored.

What Zekro does and does not do

Zekro is a manual organization tool. It is not a bank, payment service, professional accounting product, debt collector or financial adviser. It does not connect to bank accounts or make an entry legally enforceable.
