ZIZLY · GUIDE
Private Sleep Recorder with Local Audio Processing
Zizly is built around local audio processing and user-controlled recording. This plain-language overview explains the product model; the formal Zizly Privacy Policy remains the legal source.
Recording begins only when you start it
Zizly uses the microphone only after you manually start monitoring and grant the permission requested by Android. It does not begin a sleep session on its own.
When the session is active, the app can identify audio activity and create short clips for later review.
Audio processing and storage stay local
Detection and clip processing take place on the phone. Audio clips, associated metadata and user settings are stored locally on the device, and normal use does not require a TSI Dev Studio server.
This local model avoids an automatic cloud dependency, but it also means you are responsible for the device and the recordings kept on it.
Nothing is shared automatically
Zizly does not automatically upload or distribute recordings. A clip leaves the app only when you manually choose a sharing action and select a destination.
Once shared with another app or service, that destination applies its own data practices.
Deletion and retention remain in your hands
You can delete captured clips manually. Zizly may also remove older clips according to the retention settings you choose.
Review saved audio regularly, remove clips you no longer need and protect access to the Android device itself.
