Smart Paste for Faster Subscription Tracking

Smart Paste reduces manual entry when you add a subscription from copied text. You choose the text to paste into Seabil, review the suggested details and correct anything missing before creating the record.

Start with text you already have

A renewal notice or a short billing note may contain the service name, amount and next date you need. Copy the relevant text yourself, then choose Smart Paste when adding a subscription.

You do not need to provide bank access or hand over an inbox. Paste only the information needed for the record, leaving out payment credentials and unrelated personal details.

Review the suggestion, not just the service name

Check the amount, currency, billing interval and date against the original source. A yearly price should not become a monthly charge, and a trial end date may differ from the first paid renewal.

Recognition is especially useful with Romanian and English text. Wording and formats vary, so suggestions can need correction; enter missing fields manually and save only when the record is right.

Turn the saved record into a useful reminder

After checking the next renewal, configure the reminder you want. Pasting details does not confirm a payment, cancel a trial or make the provider’s billing information stay current automatically.

For example, review a software renewal notice, save the verified annual amount, then set an alert that leaves time to decide whether to keep the service.

Stay in control of what is pasted

Smart Paste uses text you deliberately enter or paste and processes it on the device. It does not automatically monitor your clipboard or send the pasted text to a Seabil server.

The original pasted text is not retained after you leave the workflow. The subscription details you choose to save become part of your local records.

Use Smart Paste as an entry aid

For a short list or incomplete text, manual entry may be simpler. Smart Paste is a convenience for creating a record, not a guarantee that every notice will be understood.

The practical guide covers the full add-and-review workflow. For current Free and Lifetime feature access, use the existing comparison rather than assuming that every tool has the same access requirements.
